SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — After a disappointing 2024/25 campaign, Syracuse Men’s basketball has undergone a major facelift with two weeks still left in the transfer cycle period.

Souare adds to the frontcourt, standing at 6-foot-9 with the ability to play power forward and center. He averaged 2.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 17 mintues. Suoare and George were also teammates at Canyon International Academy in Arizona before heading to Georgia Tech.

The final addition was Kyle, who played under 10 minutes a night for the Bruins. The 6-foot-9 big man averaged 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds per game as a junior in Los Angeles. Along with Suoare, Kyle provides rebounding options a 7-foot-3 wingspan.

A host of players will be departing Syracuse, none of them having found a home yet. The names include guard Lucas Taylor and center Eddie Lampkin, both of whom will need a waiver to continue playing college basketball as they enter their fifth and sixth seasons, respectively.

Guard Elijah Moore and forward Chris Bell will be the most major losses for the Orange. Both players are rated as four-star portal recruits on On3.com.

Rounding out the departures are forward Petar Majstorovic, guard Kyle Cuffe, and guard Chance Westry.
