Madiou Bah: After the retirement of North Syracuse Central School District’s superintendent early this year, the district has been eager to fill the position. NCC News Cam McGraw joins us live from the newsroom to report on this new role.

Cam McGraw: North Syracuse Central School District has selected Terry Ward as its new superintendent. He will replace Daniel D. Bowles, who has been serving in the position for five years. District information officer, Laurie Cook, said the district is thankful for Bowles’ contribution. 

Laurie Cook: “He was a community member. His daughters went to school in the district. And again, he had a love for the district, a love for the community. So we were very fortunate to have him for his five years.”

McGraw: After an interim period of four months, Cook said the district is ready for the future.

Cook: “We’re excited that the announcement has been made and I’m very hopeful and optimistic that Ward will give us exactly what we’ve been looking for.”

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — North Syracuse Central School District has selected Terry Ward as its new superintendent. He will replace Daniel D. Bowles, who has been serving in the position for five years.
