New York State Police have made two arrests following an August investigation into sexual assault that took place at Finger Lakes Community College.
CANADAIGUA, N.Y. (NCC News) — The New York State Police have made two arrests following an investigation into a sexual assault that took place at Finger Lakes Community College, the department announced on Monday. According to State Police, the assault happened at student housing on the school’s campus in August.
Eden O. Godsey, a 19-year-old from Marion, N.Y. was arrested on September 1st, and an unnamed 17-year-old female from Caledonia, N.Y. was arrested on September 14th, a release from the state police department says. Godsey and the 17-year-old suspect are both charged with Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class D Felony.
Both suspects were arraigned at Ontario County Centralized Arraignment and released with an order of protection to stay away from the victim.
