SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Downtown Farmers Market is a place for many small businesses, including food truck Petit Nosh.
Linda Holihan, the owner of Petit Nosh, started her food truck business after being laid off from her corporate job during the pandemic.
“I took a small business food truck class that was offered through center state ceo, online during the pandemic, and started,” she said. “Just jumped in with both feet.”
Although Holihan works longer hours, she is happy with the change. “I would not have it any other way,” she said.
Her menu focuses on family recipes, nostalgia and local ingredients.
“Feeding people is such a joy to me, and when I create something that people love, there is just no better feeling than that,” she said. “And when you make money doing that, or hope to make money doing that, after the first few years of business there’s nothing better.”
Holihan hopes to continue her business for years to come.
