SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – New York is among 22 other states Wednesday to initiate another lawsuit against the Trump administration.

The lawsuit comes against the administration for a recent decision to cut billions of dollars in state health funding, according to a press release from the New York State Attorney General’s Office.

Governor Hochul’s office has released a fact sheet detailing the money lost from this order. The New York State Department of Health is estimated to lose $300 million in funding for its organizations. State-run mental health and addiction services across New York are expected to lose a combined $67 million.

This is just one of the several lawsuits filed by New York and other states against the administration. Other issues being contested in these legal actions include the firing of federal workers and the disbandment of the Department of Education.
