SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — If you happen to find yourself in Marshall Square Mall, you can stumble into a local thrift shop called 3fifteen when you first enter.
But, with the store being so close to campus, how does it survive during summers? Well, according to store manager Kareen Fradinni, the place has done a good job at attracting the locals.
“This was the first original store to have kinda like a higher-end thrift shop rather than the other ones. So, the word got around that we had nicer stuff, a little bit more high-end. So, now we draw people from the suburbs. It’s a good mix,” said Fradinni.
Now, 3fifteen might be a big hit with the local people, however, Fradinni still wants students to come out and show their support.
Here its fun to see it, you can grab it, and the deals are good. You can get designer stuff for one-third of the price. Another good part about it is when students have stuff they don’t want, they can donate it right here. It just full circle, it covers all the recycling that we wanna do,” said Fradinni.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m,. seven days a week. So next time you walk into Marshall Square Mall, make sure you stop by 3fifteen because you’ll never know what kind of awesome clothing you can find.
