Local Artist Showcases His Art Through the Month of November
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — In the heart of Syracuse, there resides an artistic luminary whose captivating masterpieces have found a home at the Petit Branch Library, casting a spell of wonder and admiration upon all who cross its threshold.
William Hall, a cherished local resident whose artistic prowess has been presented for quite some time. A talented individual who crafts captivating cartoons, capture stunning photographs and skillfully enhances them into exquisite works of art.
Hall has invested a significant amount of time honing these artworks, replacing one piece daily at the local coffee shop and library.
“The art that I’ve been doing, I’ve been putting up a daily picture of the day at the coffee shop sense 2009. A daily picture with a cartoon. But before that I did watercolors and I’ve had an exhibit in the library sense about 2003,” said Hall.
Hall did not embark on his career in this particular field initially. However since 2003, he has developed a persistent drive that motivates him to continue creating these pieces of art.
“What makes me tick. I don’t know, I just get on a path. I look up quotes for people, and that’s how it started. Sometimes I make my own quote. In fact for like the first five years it was all just my own quote,” said Hall.
Hall’s artwork is on display at various locations, including The Recess Coffee House at 110 Harvard Place, The Cluttered Closet at 742 South Beech Street, The Framing Store on Westcott Street, The Metro on Westcott Street, Dorian’s Pizza on Westcott Street, the Onondaga County Public Library, Petit Branch and Victoria Place that takes place every August since 2006.
Hall’s artwork is available for viewing at Petit Branch Library throughout the entire month of November.
