SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — Chocolate is a treat that most people enjoy indulging in, but to one Syracuse man, it is more than a sweet treat. Chocolate is his life.
Adam Mazzoni has been an owner of Sweet On Chocolate in downtown Syracuse for five years where he has prided himself on evolving his chocolate shop.
“We have increased our offerings of treats, invested in more marketing and taken a deep interest in building relationships with our customers,” said Mazzoni.
For Mazzoni every day is a day where his chocolates can bring a bit of happiness into people’s lives but on two days of the year, he works overtime to deliver. Those days are Valentine’s Day Eve and Valentine’s Day.
On a normal business day, Sweet on Chocolates staff dips around four to five-hundred chocolate-covered strawberries, but for these two days they do about four times the norm. That goes not only for strawberries, but their other offerings of chocolate covered pretzels, pineapple, apples, potato chips, oreos, and so much more.
The reason they do it is simple, to ensure that everyone who wants to have the opportunity to spread a little chocolatey love.
