Reporter Ryan Cuddy: Clare Morschause is entering the polling site of John H Mulroy Hall to cast her ballot for this year’s presidential election. She has voted since she turned 18. This will be the seventh presidential election she is voiting on. Morschauser says she strongly values the importance of voting.

Clare Morschauser: The abortion laws are very important to me, all the woman’s rights obviously.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC NEWS) – Clare Morschauser, an IT Software Engineer at Equitable, has voted in every presidential election since she turned 18.

“Just to have a choice in the decisions that are made,” Morschauser said.

Among the issues at hand that Morschauser is passionate about are women’s reproductive rights.

“The abortion laws are very important to me,” she said, “all the women’s rights obviously.”

This particular issue drove Morschauser to the polls this election day, along with millions of other voters across the country, all making sure that their voices are heard.
