SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News)- On Nov. 9, CenterState CEO will be honoring businesses who’ve made personal growth and have made economic impact in Central New York.  Jim Fryer, is one of the sponsors for the event, said this economic impact covers a variety of areas.

“First and foremost it would probably be hiring people,” said Freyer, who is also CEO of Haylor, Freyer & Coon.  “Economic could be building, doing infrastructure, putting up new buildings, new residentials, apartments.”

Freyer predicts this event will have a huge turnout.

“I think you’re going to have over six to 800 people,” said Freyer.  “It probably represents 400 or 500 business owners.”

Freyer also predicts that small businesses will do very well in Central New York.

A variety of small businesses will be honored in the event. Freyer sees in the future small businesses being an integral part of Central New York.

“We’re going to see a lot of small businesses I believe pop up ,” said Freyer. “Whether that’s the hospitality industry, restaurants and hotels just the service industry within Central New York.”

Visual Technologies is a vendor for the event and will also be honored. President David Foor said his company will be honored because of investments they’ve made.

“We’ve made additional investments in new equipment going forward,” said Foor. “Whether it’s new laptops that recognizes the newer software out there or it’s a brighter projector.”

Foor thinks that because of Micron it’ll help boost the Syracuse economy further and it’ll help his business by demand of technology.

“You want to sit in a conference room and you want to be able to Zoom or Webx or go to meetings,” said Foor. “ You know with a virtual meeting with another group of people that gives us the opportunity to help design the room.”

The Economic Celebration Event will be on Nov. 9 from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at The OnCenter
