Four Candidates Vie to Replace Mayor Ben Walsh
This year’s mayoral race is one of the most closely watched in years. Four candidates are hoping to replace Mayor Ben Walsh, who is stepping down after serving two terms.

Many residents say today’s election represents an important opportunity to have their voices heard.
“I think it’s a great opportunity that a lot of other places in the world don’t have,” said Randy Wolken, a Syracuse voter. “We should take that seriously, and I’d encourage everyone who can vote to get out and vote.”
